外贸函电：谢绝增加佣金的请求

本封信由于折扣关系到的范围甚广，不可轻易遵办。但是愿意负担广告费，极富商业道德。

Dear Sirs,

We are pleased to receive your letter informing us that you are willing to introduce our products in your market and increase your advertising but request that we increase the commission on any new lines you handle.

We believe that our very competitive prices will surely ensure steady and increasing sales on account of the excellent design and quality of our goods. Concerning the increased commission, we find it difficult to allow any further discount on our goods as prices have been put to the absolute minimum.

However in view of your expenditure for sales campaign, we are prepared to grant you a credit of $10,000 for initial advertising. We think this is a more practical way of meeting your requirement. If you desire to accept this proposal, please let us know what kind of campaign you would mount.

We will rely on your judgement.

很高兴收到贵方来信，告知您愿意将本公司产品引进贵市场，并增加贵方的广告，但是要求我方对您新近销售的货品，增加额外的佣金。

兹深信本公司极具竞争力的价格，加上产品的优良设计与品质，确保了稳定及与日俱增的销售额。由于我方价格已定在最下限，有关增加佣金一事，很难于商品上再应允任何更进一步的折扣。

然而，鉴于贵方在促销宣传活动上的花费，兹准备对初次广告允诺一万美元的信用贷款。我方以为这是回应贵方请求较为实际的办法。若贵公司有意接受这项提议，请告知我方将采取哪一种宣传活动。
