出席商务会议

出去参加讨论会会是件令你受益多多的事情。下文中的迈克和比利正在准备去参加谈论会。

Michael: Billy! Are you ready to go?

迈克：比利！你准备好走了吗？

Billy: Just give me a minute. I will meet you downstairs.

比利：再给我一分钟。我一会儿在楼下见你。

Michael: We are running out of time. Is there something that I can help with so that we don't miss the flight?

迈克：我们快没有时间了。有什么我能帮你，好让我们不错过航班的呢？

Billy: The photocopier is so slow today. I just need to make copies of my conference presentation.

比利：今天复印机真慢。我只需要复印一些我的会议陈述（资料）。

Michael: Just bring the original and you can make copies at the conference.

迈克：只拿上原件，你可以在讨论会上复印。

Billy: Great idea! Let’s go - the sales and marketing conference for 2008 awaits us!

比利：好主意！我们走吧——2008年的市场销售讨论会正在等着我们！

Michael: You sound really excited Billy.

迈克：比利，你听起来好兴奋。

Billy: I love going to conferences!

比利：我喜欢出席会议！

Michael: Maybe I should give you some tips about how to make the most of your conference experience.

迈克：也许我应该告诉你一些怎样拥有最佳会议经历的小窍门。

Billy: Great. You can talk to me on the plane while I watch the movie!

比利：太好了！你可以在飞机上当我看电影的时候告诉我！

出席过了讨论会/论坛后，当然要和同事好好地交流一下心得了。

Jeff: How was the conference last week, Joan?

杰夫：琼，上周的讨论会怎么样？

Joan: It was fantastic. I learned so many new things and made heaps of new friends.

琼：非常棒！我学到了好多新事物，并交了一大堆新朋友。

Jeff: Did you get a new ideas that will help us develop the company?

杰夫：你有得到一个可以帮助我们发展公司的新主意吗？

Joan: I sure did. I spoke with people from other companies similar to ours and got some cool ideas.

琼：当然有了！我与从其它和我们公司相似的公司的人们交谈并得到了一些很棒的主意。

Jeff: So I can expect lots of changes in the coming months?

杰夫：那么我应该期待公司在下个月会有很多改变吗？

Joan: I really want to make some changes here that I learned at the conference.

琼：我真的想在这儿做些我在讨论会中学到的改变。

Jeff: Can I go to the conference next year?

杰夫：我可以明年去讨论会吗？

Joan: Sure, I had my turn this year, so next year is your chance!

琼：当然，今年我已经去了，所以明年就是你的机会了！
