This term refers to innovation of macro or micro management systems. They include operation mechanisms, management, policies, organization, business model and production process. 

熟年
mature-aged

This term refers to people who are between 45 to 64 years old. In urban areas, this group of people boasts consumption power and consciously follows new trends. However, they also face problems in job, retirement, health, marriage and sex life. 

火星文
textspeak

Young people nowadays tend to shorten words or use words from differentlanguages, numbers and punctuation signs in their text messages, thus creating a kind of new language, or the Martian language, as this Chinese term literally means. Examples: lol = laughing out loud; b4 = before; RU cmin out 2nite? = Are you coming out tonight?; Cul8rk? = See you later, okay? 

路怒
road rage

Poor traffic conditions and endless traffic congestions in crowded cities and on expressways could trigger violent behavior or road rage by a driver as he acts out his frustrations. The road rage, in turn, may lead to accidents or incidents on roadways.

跷跷板效应
seesaw effect

Just like a seesaw back and forth, Chinese mainland investors are usually rushing between the real estate market and the stock markets. Due to the recent boom in China’s stock markets, many mainland investors have siphoned household savings out of their property investment.  

家包
homesourcing

This term refers to a hot trend of hiring people who work from their home. For instance, independent contractors employ people to handle customer service calls from their home, which saves time and money for both employers and employees.

steal the spotlight, draw attention

It refers to sometimes a despicable way of seeking attention from others or the public. 

空降兵
parachute manager

This term originally means a parachute soldier. Like someone dropping from the sky, it now often refers to new managers brought in from outside an enterprise. However, it’s quite common for such managers to face big orientation problems and incapability in bringing about expected results.
