Salute

卧波桥的风

The air from Wobo bridge

吹舞了少女的刘海儿

Blew the frail’s fringe

丁香的芬芳

The scent of lilacs

醉了少男的衣襟

got the boy's shirt-front drunk

两条辫子

The two braids

象两朵花蕾

were like two buds,

没有绽开依然很美

Not open yet, so charmingly bright,

绿色书包里

In her green school bag

装着红色的日记本

Was a red diary

画有一对蝴蝶在飞

Where there were two painted butterflies in flight

假如我那时的样子

I would salute you deeply

常从你的蓝色记忆中闪过

If that me often

我深深地向你致敬

Flashes across your blue memory.
