外贸函电：请求延长汇票期限

一般进口商多喜用D/P、D/A条件交易，但是此条件对卖方不利，因为银行不愿押汇D/A、D/P的汇票。当然，信用卓著的卖方则另当别论。

Dear Sirs,

We acknowledge receipt of your advice concerning the shipment of coffee makers we ordered on April 28. Our order number is CA-621.

We propose, subject to your agreement to arrange for an irrevocable L/C to be issued in your favour, providing for drafts to be drawn at d/s, deviating from ordinary terms of at sight. The following documents should be attached to your drafts: Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Insurance policy.

Kindly advise if this method of payment is acceptable so that we can instruct our bank accordingly.

有关以贵方为抬头开立的不可撤销信用证，以获得贵方首肯为条件，兹提议脱离见票付款的一般条件，而代之以开出见票后60日付款的汇票。请将下列文件与贵公司的汇票附寄过来：提单、商业发票、包装明细表、保单。

请告知可否接受这种付款方式，以便我方据此指示银行。
