外贸函电：因生产设备的限制而拒绝订单

如果费尽心力仍难以应付对方的要求时，应毫不迟疑地加以拒绝。

Dear Sirs,

We thank you very much for your order November 3. After careful consideration on your request, however, we have come to the conclusion that it would be better for us to decline your order in this case.

In order to reach the limit you required in your specifications we would have to install a large amount of special equipment at our plant, and this would not be possible before in January next year without interrupting our normal production.

We are really very sorry not to be in a position to accept your order, but hope that you will understand our situation. Please let us have any other inquiries, as we shall be only too pleased to meet your requirements if it is within our power.

多谢贵方11月3日的订单，但是，在仔细考虑您的要求之后，所得出的结论是，这次拒绝贵方的订单，对我方较为有利。

为了达到贵公司规格说明书所要求的限度，我方必须在工厂里大幅安装特殊设备。而且在不影响本公司正常生产的情况下，也不可能于明年1月之前完成。

无法接受贵订单，实在感到很遗憾，但是希望您体谅我方的处境。如果能力所及，我方必然非常乐意满足贵方的要求，所以，请惠赐其他的询价。
