通胀预期 inflation expectation

国家统计局近日发布数据显示，9月份CPI（消费价格指数）和PPI（工业品出厂价格指数）同比降幅继续收窄，CPI“转正”在即。有专家指出，从当前的现实来看，不存在通货膨胀的问题，但对通胀预期要给以高度关注。

The State Council made it clear that in the remaining months of this year, the policy focus would be to "balance the relationship between boosting growth, rebalancing the economy and managing inflation expectations".

国务院明确指出，在今年剩余几个月中，政策将着力“在促进增长、均衡调整经济发展、以及管理通胀预期之间取得平衡“。

文中的inflation expectation就是指“通胀预期”，就是对未来inflation rate（通货膨胀率）水平的一种估计或推断。而inflation（通货膨胀）则是指货币贬值，物价持续上涨的情况，分为demand-pull inflation（需求拉动型通胀）和cost-push inflation（成本推动型通胀）两类。如不加控制，就会引发hyper-inflation（恶性通胀）。与之相对应的则是deflation（通货紧缩）。

据报道，中国经济已出现V-shaped recovery（V型复苏），即将实现full-year growth target（全年增长目标）。中央政府也已改变policy tone（政策基调），经济不仅要改变investment-led growth（投资拉动型增长）的模式，还要促进domestic consumption（国内消费），使经济平稳发展。
